Access rights: Users with Master Data management rights
Use the path above to open the screen where you create a new packaging specification.
Steps
Step 1
Click NEW to create a new packaging specification.
Step 2
The system adds a new data row on the list view. Enter the packaging specification information.
General information
| No. | Field | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Specification name | Enter the name of the specification. |
| 2 | Specification code | Enter the packaging specification code. The system does not allow duplicate codes. |
| 3 | Specification type | Select the type of specification. |
| 4 | Customer | Select the customer the packaging specification applies to. The specification then applies only to that customer. |
| 5 | Active | Select this so the packaging specification is shown. |
Dimensions and weight

| 6 | Length (cm) | Enter the length. |
| 7 | Width (cm) | Enter the width. |
| 8 | Height (cm) | Enter the height. |
| 9 | Weight (kg) | Enter the weight of the packaging specification. |
Step 3
Click SAVE to save what you have entered.
Result
The packaging specification has been created successfully.
